Tina Julich Designs, Lampwork Beads, Jewelry & More

Pink, Oklahoma

Announcement    My own work has taken many twists and turns (pun intended). I have made art glass lampwork beads for over fifteen years, using them in my handcrafted jewelry. This past year I have started working a lot with copper and really enjoy the beauty and range of this metal. This coming year I hope to stretch my jewelry making ‘muscles’ and use more copper and both copper and silver together. In my lampworking I will continue to use floral designs in my beads but I also hope to expand my work and start adding more organic elements to my beads. I would also like to start making ornaments on a regular basis. The challenge of making a hollow ornament is exciting and I have so many ideas that I would like to try.

Each of the pieces of jewelry and lampwork beads I sell is made by me. All glass pieces are annealed for strength in my digitally controlled kiln. I use sterling or fine silver and copper in my jewelry, which should give a lifetime of enjoyment to the wearer. Each item of jewelry is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art and has been made with a love of the materials, the process, and the finished work. I make beads and jewelry because I love it, and I hope that this shows in my work. I hope you love what I make, too, because it’s in this sharing between artist and viewer that we can connect and you can learn a bit more about me. Maybe you like a piece because of its color or shape or because it reminds you of something else. That's okay. . . if my work makes you smile, or contemplate, or just feels good, then we have connected.

Please let me know if you have an idea for a piece or would like to request custom work.

Sincerely,
Tina
